Description

Ginger grass and its extracts, including its essential oil, are ingredients that have long been used in various Ayurvedic formulations. Ginger grass is called ‘Sofiya’ in Sanskrit. This oil is obtained through steam distillation of grass. While Gingergrass Essential Oil shares a very similar Latin name with Palmarosa Essential Oil, the two are very different oils. Gingergrass Oil has many uses in the home including use in insect repellant blends, as an addition to invigorating massage oils, soaps, cosmetics, skincare and moisturizing lotions. Ginger grass Essential Oil is used primarily for circulation and stress reduction.
