Description

Essential oil extracted from Kerinci cinnamon (Cinnamomum tamala) by steam distillation. Cinnamomum tamala essential oil has a distinctive warm, balsamic and spice aroma. The aroma is often described as fragrant and calming, with a touch similar to cinnamon essential oil, but softer and lighter. The results of distilling this oil are pale yellow to orange in color. The chemical compounds contained are Cinnamaldehyde, Coumarin, and others.
